Backstory
I was adopted into a muggle family when I was just one years old, so naturally, I grew up living a normal muggle life. That is, until I received my Hogwarts letter! When I learned I was a witch, so many of my questions as to who I was were answered! I immediately went to search up my biological family, hoping for even more answers, wondering if I come from a family of magic, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find any information on them. When I arrived at Hogwarts, I was immediately placed in Hufflepuff, and that sense of "I finally feel home" surged through my heart. At Hogwarts, I finally was surrounded by people who understood and accepted me, quirks and all. I was overwhelmed with all of this new magical information, and I researched and read up on as much as I could, reading each book with immense fascination. I quickly took a liking to Charms and Herbology, and to my surprise, I also greatly enjoyed Potions from the first day.
Before Hogwarts, I had learned that my greatest strength was my ability to empathize with others, and my need to put others before me. This is also my greatest weakness however, since I struggle with taking care of myself and putting my needs first when warranted. I wouldn't trade those traits for anything in the world however, I think they make me stronger and more resilient.
I haven't really thought what I want to do after graduation, but I do know that I want to help others. I'm just not quite sure how as of now.
I do own a pet, a ginger tabby cat named Jared (named after one of my favorite Vines), and he's a bit empty headed, but I just love him more for it, and he is the most cuddly cat I've ever encountered, and very attached.
Going back to my family, my adopted parents didn't really want me coming to Hogwarts, but they had finally given in after months of me pleading with them. I still intend to find my biological family so I can have all of my questions answered at last.
