Backstory

I lived in America when I received my Hogwarts letter. Mother was quite nervous with the idea of sending her eldest daughter off to Hogwarts, especially after the war had just ended. She homeschooled me up until the letter arrived, shielding me from the terror and pain the magical world was going through but I knew what was going happening. She even went as far as to move our family to a small town in America. I found my calling when I broke my leg trying to escape the Whomping Willow in my third year. Mother threatened Hogwarts if they dared used magic on my leg and forced me to heal the muggle way, requiring physical and occupational therapy to get back to my normal self. I am just glad that I did not have to climb those steps to reach my common room and was only a tickle of the pear away from the kitchen. Oh, how I miss those sweet house-elves and their delicious rolls. I was able to complete my O.W.Ls and N.E.W.T.s just a year ahead of schedule and began my post-secondary education when I was eighteen. I decided to take a year and travel, that is how I met my now fiance. He is also a wizard and attended Hogwarts just a year ahead of me, it's a small world if you ask me. If you haven’t guessed, I work on the Fifth Floor in the Rehabilitation department. Maybe you'll come by and see me but hopefully, it is willing and not as a necessity.
