Lucy Fairweather

Backstory

Prior to attending Hogwarts, Lucy lived on a farm in the English countryside with her parents. She attended a muggle school as her parents wanted her to get a grip on muggle life, and understand basic concepts like English writing, literature and mathematics. She made very few friends in school and spent her free time helping her father care for the injured beasts that he cared for on their farmstead.
She is very similar to her father, much to her mother's disappointment, and maintains her love for creature protection by aiding the Care of Magical Creatures professor in any way she can during her spare time. Her Mother often forced her to help in her shop, where she learned basic potion-making skills. She was surprised to find that potions became one of her best school subjects.
She learned to play violin and guitar from a young age at school and achieved her grade 6 in both instruments just prior to attending Hogwarts.
