Backstory

Gwen was sorted into Ravenclaw because of her creativity and open-mindedness. Her sorting took longer than others; the Hat wanted to place her in Gryffindor. She enjoys Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms. Gwen doesn't like Arithmancy or History of Magic. She's isn't particularly fond of Potions but is good at it regardless. Gwen was born to a half-blood father and a pureblood mother. When You-Know-Who rose to power she was a child, but she does remember not being able to go outside for almost a year during that time. Her greatest strength is probably her creativity and imagination. Her greatest weakness is her stubbornness. After finishing school, she'd like to be an Auror. Gwen is particularly interested in the Dark Arts and how to defend yourself against them. She uses magic to help people and also to help herself. What Gwen wants the most is to be successful and make a change in the world; she wants her idea to inspire and change the Wizarding World. Gwen owns an eagle owl named Quincy.
