Backstory

I was born in a normal family, and lived a relatively normal life. What my father and I didn't know, though, was that my mother was a witch. Around the age of 8, weird things would happen here and there. Not me-being-super-angry-at-something-and-the-house-literally-ignites kind of weird, but whenever I was a bit scared or excited, for example, lights would sometimes flicker, wind would sometimes blow indoors, and one time, I even accidentally made the television levitate out of the anger and excitement over a game of football. Soon after these occurrences began to happen more frequently, my mom told dad and I about her being a witch and about Hogwarts. Flash-forward to my eleventh birthday, and the acceptance letter coming into the mail. This wasn't just from any old school, it was from Hogwarts. My family was ecstatic. Months later, we purchased all of the necessities listed on the letter (I also got an owl named Zeus!) and I was on the Hogwarts express. Being a witch learning at Hogwarts is the best thing that ever happened to me.
