Backstory

I was the rebound child. I come from a wizard family where my older sister was born a squib. My parents couldn’t live with that, so they had me in hopes of bearing someone magical to support the family. my sister is always overlooked and was deemed a squib when she turned 11 and didn’t receive a letter from hogwarts. Even though she may not have magic inside of her, she has always been a role model for me. She helps me through the pressure mom and dad put on me and reminds me everyday that power isn’t everything. She was the one who truly raised me.
Going into my first year at hogwarts i’m terrified. I have been studying since i was 5, thanks to my parents, and i’m confident that i’m prepared but worried what others will think of me. I have never been an advocate for myself, i’ve always been the quiet kind, but deep inside i have a free spirit that i am longing to set free.
I hope to make new friends, gain knowledge and experiences, and enjoy time away from the pressure of my parents.
