Backstory

I'm the youngest of six siblings, all of whom went to Hogwarts before me. Each of them excelled in something different, be it a class subject or Quidditch, they were perfect in every way.

They were all Slytherins, including my parents. They met at Hogwarts, and my family has a lot of house pride. I've always been the more reserved child, being the baby of the family and all. My siblings are far more outgoing and involved than me, I'm essentially the black sheep of the family.

When I got my letter, my parents weren't surprised at all. They had already loaded me with Slytherin items, knowing exactly where I'd end up.

They got me everything I needed and more, but I was most excited about my owl. I went for the meanest looking one, I later named him Trinket. My parents were wary because he seemed so aggressive and aloof, but I knew he would be perfect, and we would be good friends in the end.

Getting to Hogwarts and watching the other students be sorted was the second most nerve wracking moment of my life. The first would be having to write home to my parents, telling them that I wasn't sorted into Slytherin, like they had hoped.

Being sorted into Hufflepuff wasn't a bad experience, everyone seems nice, but the teachers were the ones who were the most confused by where I ended up. I hope I can get out of my shell a little here, and make some new friends.

And try not to disappoint my parents any more than they already are...
