Backstory

Until the day I received my Hogwarts letter, witches and wizards had always been the stuff of fairytales. Strange things would happen around me, but they were always written off as coincidences or freak accidents. Even my parents didn’t believe the letter was real, and only agreed to check things out after the fourth letter arrived. They expressed skepticism all the way to London, saying it was probably some elaborate prank and not to get my hopes up. The looks on their faces when the strange but kind barman at the Leaky Cauldron ushered us through the magic wall to Diagonal Alley were priceless. Since then I’ve become obsessed with discovering all the Wizarding World has to offer. I can’t wait to start my first term at Hogwarts and properly learn magic, especially Transfiguration and Charms!
