Lady Marigold Black

Backstory

My full name is Marigold Nightshade Suzanne Cassiopeia Black, but I go by Lady Marigold. I am, of course, a pureblood -- though I find such blood feuds to be petty and harmful.

I enjoy playing the violin and pianoforte, writing, making medicine, and cooking, among other things. I am also learning French and German, so while I am not fluent in either one, I am conversational in both. I am fascinated by the making of poisons as well as the Dark Arts (not using them, but studying them), because it's a whole world of magic not taught at Hogwarts.

I am a Slytherin, like the rest of my family, mainly because I have ambition, subtlety, a desire to succeed always, and I will do almost anything to get what I want. I know what I want and what I believe in and am not afraid to stand up for my personal beliefs. I enjoy Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, and Astronomy. I greatly dislike Divination and Muggle Studies. I do quite well in Transfiguration, but it is not my favorite subject.

I am always willing to meet intriguing new people, and am always willing to help those who need it...as long as it does not go against my personal code of conduct. I also have a bombay cat, whose name is Delilah. She likes to roam around Hogwarts at night. Please pet her when you see her, as she loves attention. -
