Backstory
Hi! I'm a half-blood witch (My mom's a Squib and my dad's a Muggle)! My mother talked about the Wizarding World all the time, even though she wasn't truly a part of it. She always told me and my father about amazing places like Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. So, when I got my letter to Hogwarts I was not as shocked as the Muggleborns were, but I was still confused. My mom had never told me about a wizarding school, but I guess that had to learn it somewhere. I walked up to my parents and showed them the letter. My mom quickly explained that even though she was a Pureblood, Squibs couldn't attend Hogwarts. But it still made me wonder, how could someone from a Squib and a Muggle be able to perform magic if a Squib from Pureblood descent couldn't. Months after I received my letter, I arrived at Hogwarts, wand and all, ready (and nervous) to explore magic. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, and couldn't have felt worse. Me, the product of a Squib and a Muggle go with the smart, wise, and not to mention prepared students? It felt like a 5,000 pound weight was dropped in my stomach. I went from class to class with my house, constantly being the only person not to raise their hand. Even though I wasn't raising my hand, I was still learning a lot and eager to learn more. And, in my opinion, is why I went to Ravenclaw. I may not have known stuff then, but I was eager and ready to learn it.House: Ravenclaw
