Backstory

When I first received my letter, I thought it was all a joke until the letters kept coming. As a muggleborn, it took some convincing to get my parents to allow me to come, but they eventually relented. I think we all honestly didn't believe it was actually real until we arrived at Diagon Alley. Since I was adopted when I was young, we wondered if I have biological relatives who were witches or wizards, which could obviously explain why I got into Hogwarts. When we arrived at the school, it took a few minutes for the Sorting Hat to make it's decision, but I was finally sorted into Ravenclaw. I found it a little difficult to make friends at first, but I eventually found my place. I definitely live up to the Ravenclaw stereotype and am very dedicated to school, especially since it is exceedingly fascinating compared to the usual muggle classes I'm used to. My favorite class is probably Charms, however I think I am best at Care of Magical Creatures. After I leave Hogwarts, I think I'd eventually like to return as a professor, though I'm not sure which subject I'd like to teach. In the meantime, I plan to excel in my classes and to make lasting memories with my friends!
