Backstory

(Younger Student) The sorting hat sorted me in Slytherin, which was kind of odd considering my Ravenclaw family. Anyway, it came as no surprise for my parents, nor for my older sister. I have always been different from them and everyone could tell as they all were reading books in their free time and I preferred working on new spells so I can lower my sister's marks or turn my brother's books into frogs. When we went shopping on Diagon Ally I was mostly excited about buying my new wand. I already had one but it was my sister's old wand and I didn't like it all. My parents insisted on keeping the old one but I had been saving all summer for a new wand and I bought it myself. When we came back home all I did for days was testing new spells on my brother's owl. My dad had to turn the filthy bird white again a couple of times. My parents wanted to get me an owl too but I immediately rejected it! I wanted a cat, even though every one in my family owned owls. But I already mentioned that I am different from my family.
