Backstory

(Younger Student)
I was quiet surprised when I first recieved my Hogwarts letter. I mean I've always had a strong imagination and a fickle for anything magic, be it books, abandoned shacks or street performers, I'd never run out of nonsense as my dad often put it.
with both my parents being muggles they were pretty shaken as well, but they always encouraged my antics, this time as well. Growing up in the muggle world wasn't really that easy for me, crazy things just seemed to happen around me so I was usually avoided by most people, so finally finding out why was a relief. I jumped into my shoes and my brother took me to Diagon Alley less I get lost on the one hour it took to get there. It was a blast to pick everything up, although he is no wizard, he just as me had an interest for the mysterious.
He surprised me with a pet rat he proudly named Excaliburr that would come to save my skin more times than I will admit.
At the entrance ceremony I was a bit of a hat staller, being considered for huffllepuff, but ended up in griffindor after all.
I'm now about to start my first year, my favorite courses being magical creatures, charms and potions, although I'm awful at the latter, but anything practical really, my number one being flying, I'm aiming to make the quidditch team!
I'm a bit socially awkward so I tend to distance myself, but I'm going in for making more friends this year!
My first year have been pretty rough so far, with the trouble I always stumble into but hey, I did say I had a knack for the mysterious!
