Backstory

Growing up a poor pure-blood was hard. With a mother who tries her best to teach you magic but also has her jobs to help support the family, and a father who was in the Battle of Hogwarts as a student and has now turned his back on magic due to the injuries he sustained, it can be hard to properly learn magic. I was raised to be kind and forgiving, and growing up, I had to support the family through chores and other menial tasks while still studying for the muggle education I was supposed to have. Eventually, once I received my letter to Hogwarts, it was a matter of begging to be able to go. I was soon able to convince my father, on the condition that I would still continue to study for a general education so that I could be versatile in both muggle and wizard knowledge. Hard work is something that I was raised to do from square one, and I plan on continuing to be able to do it once I enter Hogwarts.
