Backstory: My Name is Daniel Smith and I was born to a Half Blood Family in New York City my father was a Half Blood Auror and my mother was a Half Blood Ministry Worker. Me and my brothers were very close so when I got my hogwarts letter I was so happy that i would get to be with them. when we got to King Cross Station I was very nervous about starting my first year at Hogwarts. As I ran through the wall that platform nine and three-quarters I was astonished by what I saw on the other side the Hogwarts Express it was everything i imagined and more. When I boarded the train I sat in the compartments my brother's went to sit with their friends and other compartments. When I got out of the train I was so excited Hogwarts I was here at last. When we were on the boats and I saw the castle for the first time my jaw dropped in astonishment. when we entered the Great Hall I looked around in amazement it was the most biggest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. When it was my turn to be sorted I was so nervous i wondered where would i go Slytherin Hufflepuff Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. The sorting hat could not figure out weather to put me in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. Finally after what seemed like forever the sorting hat shouted SLYTHERIN. A Slytherin i was in Slytherin it was the best day of my life since i come from a family of Slytherins i was very happy to be continuing the family honor. I cannot wait to see what the new year will have in store for me.
