Backstory

Nellie Inkwell, Magizoologist and Consultant for the Beasts Division under the control of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. I find comfort in the myriad of Magical Creatures that I care for, nurse and rehabilitate. I was an above-average student at Hogwarts - the lone Slytherin in a family full of Ravenclaws and Gryffindors. I discovered my passion for Magical Creatures during my third year when I came across an abandoned litter of Knarl's on the edge of the forbidden forest - I nursed them to adulthood and was eventually able to release them back onto the grounds.

I eventually graduated Hogwarts with my N.E.W.T's - all Exceeds Expectations and above, and spent a year travelling before eventually using my skills and becoming a Magizoologist, much to my family's chargrin. I come from a family of Aurors, Curse breakers, Dueller's ect and so my idea to simply "care" for magical creatures seemed a rather poor use of my time according to my parents.

But never the less, I rescue and relocate injured, or illegally bred creatures. I consult for the MoM, MACUSA and more abroad on any cases involving Magical Creatures. Sometimes this puts me right in the middle of Auror investigations, and dangerous situations that others wouldn't be able to handle where these creatures are concerned. My concern is for the creature's safety and relocation, not for the Witches and Wizards who could care less when a defenseless creature is hurt, and exploited. There seems to be an increase in Magical Creature trafficking and illegal breeding of the more dangerous kind of late.
