Despite bearing one of the Sacred 28 as a last name Lull is, in fact, not a pure blood. Just like the latest generations of the Abbott family, Hannah Abbott, Lull is a half blood. Lull's tie to the British Abbott family comes in the form of Henituse Abbott. The youngest of 4 sons he fled to Hawai'i sometime in the years of 1840-1843 to avoid a pure blood marriage. An accomplished geneticist Henituse realized what continuous inbreeding would do to his descendants, and he was burned off the family tree. As a result, the Abbott family in Hawai'i cannot have any relations with the British Abbott family, let alone be considered a branch family.

As the youngest of 3, and the only girl, Lull was treasured greatly by both her maternal and paternal family. In a divorce dispute Mr.Abbott obtained custody of the two boys, but Lull chose to stay with her mother. Lull and her mother then decided a change of scenery would be best, and that brings us full circle to the Lull you interact with today!
