Backstory

(Older Student) I'm a Half-Blood, my dad's a wizard but my mum's a muggle. My dad was the first of his family to not be sorted into Ravenclaw; he got Slytherin instead. He grew up thinking he was a disgrace to his family, so as I grew I was determined to be put in Slytherin and be the the best student Hogwarts has ever seen. I wanted to prove to everyone that Slytherin wasn't the "bad house" and that just because you got sorted there you immediately become a Death Eater. But I got Gryffindor. The hat barely even touched my head before sorting me there. Of course I was excited. I mean, this was the house of the great Hermione Granger! But I had really wanted to get in Slytherin, just so I could prove to everyone that they aren't bad people and that your house doesn't define you. Since I wasn't able to go through with my plan because I'm not in Slytherin, I decided that instead, I was going to befriend all students, especially Slytherins. I might not be the most popular, but I have friends from all houses, and I think that everyone's been a bit more accepting of students from the other houses. My favorite classes are either Care of Magical Creatures, because I love animals, Transfiguration, because it's so much fun, or Defense Against the Dark Arts, because it's useful and interesting. I think I'm going to try to be a teacher at Hogwarts once I graduate, and hopefully one day I could be headmistress and further my work of eliminating house rivalries and bring more interhouse friendships. I have a younger sister named Gemma, and she's one of my best friends in the whole world.
