Backstory

You can imagine my reaction when an enormous barn owl flew in through the front door. I screamed, and my mother ran in to see what all the ruckus was about, only to discover me staring after the mysterious bird, Hogwarts letter in hand. Mum though the whole thing was someone's idea of a funny joke, but I had always been superstitious, and this made perfect sense. Strange things tended to happen whenever I was exited or upset... Finally mum gave in to my constant begging and we took a train to London. I was ecstatic when we realized that the magical world was real after all, and shopping was so much fun! I can't wait to go to Hogwarts and learn everything there is to know about being a witch...
