Jamie Potter

Backstory

My name is James Potter - Jamie’s what my parents call me. I have completely unruly black hair and hazel eyes. I’m a sixth year Gryffindor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I come from a pureblood family; the Potters are one of the oldest names in the wizarding world. People have always referred to us as “prestigious” (we come from old money) but now they’re throwing around less pretty words like “blood traitors” and “fools”. We’d rather be fools than murderers, though, so we tend to favor the new adjectives. My best class is DADA, but I like Transfiguration, Ancient Runes, and Herbology because of all the hands on work. I’m mad for a muggle-born bird called Lily Evans, who coincidentally has just started to not abhor my company. When I’m not in class, you can probably find me with my friends Sirius, Remus, and Peter or playing a friendly at the quidditch pitch.
