Backstory

Believe me, I was as surprised as the next person when the hat sorted me into Ravenclaw. I mean, I thought they were just all about books right? I sat on that stool for a bit too, which didn't help my confusion. However after spending a few months with the other Ravenclaws I figured it out: Ravenclaw's are also creative, which is exactly what I am. My favorite classes are either charms or transfiguration, If I try hard enough, I'm actually kinda good at the spells! I'm not a huge fan of History of Magic, sorry, it's just TOO boring. Apparently I'm a natural in Divination (but this is news to me). I'm a Half-blood, my dad is a muggle-born. When you're a Half-blood, no one really cares what your blood status is, however some people would be more concerned about my Pure-blood mom marrying a muggle-born like my dad. I wasn't born until after all the stuff with You-Know-Who went down, luckily for me. My parents had moved to America for a bit when it happened though, so at least I know they were out of the line of fire. On the note of the Chosen One and stuff, I think I have seen his sons around school a bit... My greatest strength magically is visual spells, any spell that affects anything visually, that's what I excel at. I am horrible with book stuff, like history or...I don't know, other book stuff! My dream job would be to become an artist, or maybe an actor, I don't see a whole lot of my future careers revolving around magic. Everything about it honestly. How does it work, why does it exist? Why do some have the ability to wield it when other don't? If given the chance I would choose to use magic for others over myself any day, that is to say I wouldn't NOT use it to make my life a little easier now and then. What do I want? Well that's a big question. I suppose I want to make people happy. Either with magic or without, my art or my performance could make people happy, and at the end of the day...that's all that matters to me. I have 2 guinea pigs, named Cookie Dough and April, although technically their my sister's. We generally share them, we only practice harmless, simple spells with them. April is scared of everything (including magic), while Cookie Dough could care less. As I mentioned before, my mom is Pure-blood while my dad is a muggle-born but he's also a Gryffindor while my mom is a Slytherin. Not to mention that each of my siblings and I are in a different house. I'm a Ravenclaw, my sister is a Hufflepuff, and my brothers are Gryffindor and Slytherin. Despite being in two rivaled houses, my brothers are nearly attached at the hip. My sister, despite being a Hufflepuff, LOOOVES to criticise anyone and everyone who will listen to her talk.
