Backstory

I am a creative introverted Gryffindor with a love of learning. The sorting hat almost couldn’t decide between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw! Both of my parents are muggles, so it was quite a surprise when I received a letter informing me of my acceptance into a school of magic and that I was a witch. I am lucky enough that my blood status hasn’t affected me negatively. I was born after the wizarding war, so I only have stories to imagine what happened. My parents lived right through the war though. They were always suspicious that something odd was going on around them, but could never place it until I got my letter. I would like to think that my greatest strength is my resilience, which has helped me get through even the toughest of times.My greatest weakness would have to be my reliance on my friends and family. I am so much more confident and independent with them supporting me and I don’t know how brave I would be without them cheering me on. Once I graduate Hogwarts, I hope to find a job where I can apply the things I am passionate about. I think the most fascinating thing about magic is the amount of different things you can use magic to help you in everyday life, for good purposes only, of course! My tawny owl, Archimedes loves to tag along with my friends and I when we visit hogsmeade when he has a break from delivering my mail.
