Backstory

It was no surprise when I received my Hogwarts letter, being a half-blood and all, on my dads side they were almost always Slytherin with some being in Ravenclaw. So you can imagine my surprise when I was sorted into Hufflepuff, initially my dad was unimpressed but after a few years decided I was more like my mother and that was why. I really love all my classes though my favorite is Herbology since my mom is really enjoys plants. I don't dislike any classes yet but I do struggle with Transfiguration so I have to practice a lot. I don't think my blood status changes anything or at least not that I have notice, though some purebloods aren't found of me. I'm a really good study even if I do procrastinate sometimes, though that does backfire sometimes with homework, but at least I learn it even if my grades aren't great. After I graduate I would love to be an Auror, though anything with caring for Magical Creatures that would be a good fit too! The best part of Magic is that there's so much to learn all the time as if it never ends! The more I learn the sooner I can better the places I live. I really want to just have life long adventures maybe not full of adversity but so I can have lots of stories when I'm old, until then I'm sure my ginger cat, Persimmons, would love to hear all about it and go on trips. I doubt if I'll be allowed to get my own owl anything soon, but the family screech owl, June, always brings me letters from my parents. My dad told me he got June when he met my mum so he could send her letters without his family knowing, suppose he wasn't allowed to date or something, though now we don't talk to most of our family on that side apparently they didn't like my mum too much.
