Backstory

Ever since I was a child, I was interested by magic. I don't know why, but I always felt that there was something different about me when it came to my muggle friends and family. The only person with magical abilities in my family was my aunt, who was a healer, yet she didn't make a big show out of it. When she came over to take care of me, I would often ask her about her abilities and anything that could potentially teach me about these things. All she would give me were books, but they sufficed. Tales about dragons, cauldrons, levitating spells, people turning into animals, and so much more! I was enamored. I wanted to be just like my aunt, someone who was able to heal others and make them feel better. Sadly, in the muggle world, the only thing that came close to that was becoming a doctor. My parents often entertained my ideas and fantasies, but they would have never expected what came next.
When my letter to Hogwarts arrived, I was just as surprised as everyone else. A muggle? Magic? Who would have guessed? Everything about myself and my background was called into question at that moment. We did what we could to save up enough money to send me to Hogwarts, but now here I am, ready to learn more about the magical world that I fell so deeply in love with since I could read.
