Backstory
Ironically, me and my sister are the only wizards in our family. Being 11 years older than I am, she always told me that I'd be sorted into Hufflepuff. Me and my best friend, however, always thought I'd be Ravenclaw. I was one of the first students to be called up during the Sorting. I sat on the stool and watched my best friend's reaction when the hat was placed on my head. My fingers were crossed as they gripped the stool and I waited for the hat to analyze my mind. It felt like an eternity before I was announced Ravenclaw. I'm excited for Charms class. I've read all of my sister's old textbooks and was always fascinated by the art of Charms. I'm also excited for Astronomy and the study of the stars. However, I'm dreading Flying lessons. I always hated sports at my muggle primary school, and the thought of flying on a broom made me sick. My sister was only very young when Voldemort was killed at Hogwarts all those years ago. Seeing as Voldemort had such a wide spread following, my sister and our grandparents were protected by the Australian Ministry in case any Australian wizards who shared Voldemort's ideology were to attack our family. My desire to be a widely known wizard for my future work in the world's wizarding academia is what drives me. However, my lack of focus is what sets me back. I'm hoping to travel and study abroad. I find the creation of beautiful things to be what fascinates me about magic. The idea that I can create something from nothing blows my mind. Magic should be used to aid others in need, and I plan on doing that by learning as much as I can and spreading that knowledge around the world. Me, my sister and my brother-in-law have a pet dog named Poe. Although my pet I'm bringing to Hogwarts is a tabby cat named Circe, after the witch from Homer's Odyssey. She's a placid creature but only allows myself and my closest friends to hold her.Wand: Elm, phoenix feather, 12.25in. & quite bendy
