Backstory
As a young child I always loved museums and would visit different ones on family trips. Little did I know then that the very artifacts that I was drawn to were of magical origin. Being Muggleborn I had been introduced early on to the Adventures of Indiana Jones (who knew he was real, and a wizard!?)Once at Hogwarts I found a group of friends like me at Hogwarts who loved history, reading, and researching the most random bits of information (just for the sake of it, or to prove a point) in Ravenclaw. Unlike many of my classmates I loved History of Magic and gladly went to every lecture, as i got older I also began to appreciate the skill and magic involved in transfiguration and charms, and how it was used on objects throughout history.
After I graduated Hogwarts I knew I wanted to work in a museum and traveled around from place to place working for different museums. To the average person I was just a normal muggle museum employee, but to those in the know I was documenting the history of wizards and witches in small towns across the country.
For the last few years I have been working near the nation's capital, working with museums to identify magical objects in their collections. I have also continued to document the history and stories of witches and wizards with a focus on their contributions to the early settlement of the area. Recently I have started to liaison with the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts division to help determine real magical artifacts from fakes.
