Backstory

My mom was a muggle teacher in Romania when she met my father, a wizard who was studying and training dragons at the time. They fell in love and were to marry when my mother became pregnant with me. My father's family found out and lashed out against them, for dirtying their family's bloodline. They placed a curse on my mother, and she was stricken with sickness and misfortune, leaving her too weak to live through childbirth. So my father ran far away with me as an infant, raising me on his own. He was so surprised when I got a letter from Hogwarts, but excited none the less. He often told me stories of his time at Hogwarts and told me about all the things I would learn and come to love. He wasn't surprised I was sorted into Slytherin during the sorting ceremony and told me he was proud of the amazing witch he was so sure I would be. I want to make both my mother and father proud and excel in all of my studies to the best of my abilities.

I have a 13in cherrywood wand with a phoenix feather core from Ollivanders.
