Backstory

My witch status was unbeknownst to me prior to receiving my letter of acceptance into Hogwarts. Raised as a muggle to a longstanding line of what I had always assumed to be non-magical beings, my mother and father had fled the wizarding world to escape what they can only describe as the resurgence of He who must not be named. Despite my fears of leaving behind the comfort of familiarity, I am fixated on the cumulation of knowledge and am eager to make a name for myself and my family.
