Backstory

My name is Julia and I was born into a pureblood wizarding family with an interesting history. Despite having a large wizarding family, my parents decided to move out into the countryside for a quieter life, away from the drama surrounding He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. My mother is a local potion brewer whereas my father reports to the Department of Education at the Ministry everyday. I was not surprised that even before the Sorting Hat had a chance to brush against my hair, I was sorted into Slytherin. It's where I belong. Filled with ambition, and willing to do anything to reach my goals, I don't have much trouble fitting in. I love potions class the most as my mum had already taught me most things. I have always been interested in experimenting with the ingredients (trust me sometimes the blew up in my face (literally)). My least favourite subject is most likely History of Magic or anything theory based; it sends me to sleep.

I enjoy performing and being creative. My talents include painting, singing and the dramatic arts. Although I feel like there is not much room to express this at school I quite often sneak out onto the field and express my talents while no one is looking. Alternatively I keep a sketchbook where I leave little scribbles and jot down my thoughts. On the downside, this means that I get distracted pretty easily and can have my head in the clouds. After graduating I would love to work in the Department of Mysteries. There has always been something so intriguing about knowing things that no one else does. I also have a pet black cat with the most gorgeous green eyes. She loves to cuddle but can sometimes be found lurking in the shadows.
