Backstory
Erin, an american child born to British Muggle immigrants, received her Hogwarts letter on her eleventh birthday. What a shock it was to her and her family. It did explain some odd things during her childhood. So off they went to the UK, she was amazed and intrigued by the many storefronts that littered Diagon Alley. From joke shops to sports equipment from class supplies to book shops, no matter the shop she wanted to be part of it. Her stop in Ollivander’s was memorable, the wandmaker sized her up and said I know just the wand for you. He brought out a single wand, Ebony wood (a rare black wood), 10” dragon heartstring, she picked it up and instantly the rays that flowed into the shop glowed a brilliant, beautiful purple while creating beautiful shapely shadows throughout the shop.
During Erin’s first year at Hogwarts, her sorting ceremony was one of the longer ones. She had many qualities befitting many of the houses: the nobility of Gryffindor, the Smarts of Ravenclaw, the loyalty of Hufflepuff, and the ambition of Slytherin. But the hat sensed a determined greatness that no one would stop so it must be...Slytherin! Her time at Hogwarts was an interesting one while she did well in Transfiguration, Potions, and Charms. Her talents laid in the entrepreneurial spirit of the school, her knack for transfiguration and charms allowed to make one of a kind valuables out of almost anything she could get her hands on and the students lined up wherever she would set up shop to get their hands on one. Her tenacity was also noticed by the Slytherin quidditch captain in her third year and went on to become one of Slytherin’s greatest beaters. During a difficult Defense Against Dark Arts class in her later years, she was able to create a magnificent corporeal Patronus that took the form of a majestic Hippogriff.
After Hogwarts, she went on to work under the Weasley twins at Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes as a simple sales associate, but her creativity and persona caught the eye of the owners and she quickly moved up the ladder to head the creative department coming with news items to be sold at the famous shop that stood in Diagon Alley. However, jokes were not her dreams and empty shop came for sale near Gringotts and she snatched it up immediately. And so SlythErin’s Wizarding Wonders was born, it became one of the favorite places to shop on Diagon Alley. Though an entrepreneur, she really didn’t think about all the profits she could get from selling an interesting product, but instead helping and meeting new people. Constantly busy, happy customers were always returning for her constantly new and improved stock of items.
Later she married a Ravenclaw, Matthew, a few years ahead of her at Hogwarts. They lived in a remodeled castle in Ireland. Matt is an Wizarding investor working for the goblins of Gringotts, and they have 3 kids.
