Backstory

I am a proud Slytherin, the Hat boldly proclaiming me after taking some consideration. I quickly took a liking to Defence Against the Dark Arts and Potions at which I excelled, topping the school in my final N.E.W.T.s much to the dismay of a lot of Ravenclaw students. I played Beater position on the Quidditch team, becoming Captain in my sixth year. I took a particular dislike to charms class, often spending more time studying for the Duel Club dropping out after my O.W.L.s and opting for the creation and practice of some of my own instead. I did well enough in Herbology, although I often found it laborious and far too time consuming. As a half-blood I was looked down upon by my peers until in my third year, I put Gawain l'Astoria in hospital after a duel broke out in the Common Room during lunch. I had had enough of his superiority and decided to make him submit by using a spell of my own. However, I'd not had enough practice with it and ended up breaking several of his ribs as the chains wrapped too tightly around him. No-one made fun of me after that. My being a half-blood never bothered me again until the rise of the young Tom Riddle, who attended the school shortly after I left. I prospered greatly during the rise of Lord Voldemort and even became an honorary member of the Death Eaters after providing Mr. Riddle with plenty of insight into Dark Artefacts and even taught him a couple of my own spells. During his time at Borgin and Bourkes I often helped him locate and/or move specific items not in the catalogue, he was a smart lad and I admired him greatly.My greatest strength would be a combination of my strong leadership, commanding the respect and admiration of my peers with grand speeches, my loyalty to my cause and my peers, as well as my ability to adapt to the situation, oftentimes seeming to be 10 steps ahead of the curve. My greatest weakness while at school was my blinding jealousy of those above me, although now it seems to be my heart, entrapped by my beloved. After I finished school I travelled the world, exploring and learning the Dark Arts in more depth and the cultural differences. During this time I connected with distant relatives and came back to form my own organised crime family after the fall of Riddle called the Noble elite Family. I never found my dream job after graduating, however looking back, I would have loved to have played for the Ballycastle Bats. In terms of magic, I found the endless possibilities fascinating, the ability to bend the universe to your will excited me. I never considered purposefully helping others unless I had something to gain from it and those I took under my wing never suffered, unless they betrayed me, like poor Lucretia van Dermeer, who seduced me in my fifth year via love potion. I believe the poor woman is still in St Mungos having never fully recovered from the heartbreaking fight that ensued. Being honest, all I ever wanted was to lead and have a family loyal to me. To raise them up in the world and prove that together we are unstoppable. I have a Crow companion, named Mórrígan, she is albino and is my eyes, ears and sometimes mouth from afar. My family is Irish/Sicilian, descended from Merlin and with many great Muggle pioneers including my many great uncle, Marco Polo who discovered China and the Silk Road.
