Malam Tigress

Backstory

My name is Malam Tigress. I am a half-blood, with my mother being a pure blood and my father being a half-blood himself. I have a younger sister and younger brother, and two three dogs and two cats. My family is my everything, and the encouragement they gave me to pursue my education at Hogwarts is all I need to know that I will make it just as well as my parents did.
Nothing could make me any happier than I already was, but also, nothing could make me anymore nervous. I was sitting on the hatstall, the Sorting Hat on my head and me waiting for its reply. It was only a few seconds, but it felt like a few hours. I was put into Hufflepuff. The Sorting Hat said that it was obvious I was keen on patience and that I was very dedicated towards getting through Hogwarts. Potions seems to be my favourite class, and the others are a bit tricky. I wouldn't say that I don't have a favourite.
Magic, on its own, just makes me feel like there is more than meets the eye, in both the muggle world and the magic world. I didn't think that it could be so fascinating to learn so much, things I didn't even know were possible even with what I know already. The abilities wizards and witches have is astounding, thinking about all the good they can do to maintain the balance of two worlds. It is truly incredible.
I want to be able to use magic to help people, people who don't have the capabilities or necesities to do so themselves. Magic is a great power, and it should be our duty to help others with that power.
