Backstory

I am a student majoring in defences against the dark arts. Not only a student but a protege. I plan to graduate from Hogwarts top of my class and three years younger than the rest too. Although I originally came from Boston, USA, my abilities and skills caught the eye of the headmaster. I’ll always be grateful to him. You see my parents, although they were pure-bloods, and talented ones at that, they had suffered a traumatic event the first time, he-who-must-not-be-named, arose. They lost many friends in those dark days and worried for the safety of me and my sister, but when my Hogwarts letter came, it was the happiest and most terrifying thought. It took awhile but telling my parents that to protect myself I had to learn from the best and that it was the safest place for any student changed my parents’ minds quickly. And so I went. A year before the boy who lived came to the school, I joined a student exchange program. I studied at Beauxbatons Academy in Southern France still focusing on the defence against the dark arts. Sadly it was only after tragedy had struck at Hogwarts that I came to know of the rise of he-who-must-not-be-named. Now I have returned to Hogswarts and I have sworn to protect my fellow students and the school that gave me my freedom.
