Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I didn’t know what it would mean, but I was beyond excited. At first I thought it was just a joke, someone wanting to trick me into thinking I would get accepted. My friends sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me when something weird would happen when I was there. My mom was excited for me, but my dad didn't believe it. So when they decided to take a trip to downtown London I insistently tagged along. Boy, the look on their faces when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was picking up my books and my wand. I was so excited! I wanted to learn everything about Hogwarts and read almost all of my books before the first day.
