Backstory
I'm still trying to find my place in the world. As a half-blood, I didn't know where I belonged, or if I even did. My father was an auror, and my mother was a muggle from a very strict christian family. When they met, I suppose they just knew. My father's family was supportive as long as he was happy, even though they were pure-blooded. My mother's family, however, disowned her when they found out about who she was marrying. It didn't matter, though, because she was happy.Soon after, I was born. When I was three, we received an owl detailing my father's death and how he did it to lock up a dangerous criminal in Azkaban. It was very hard after that for my mother, but due to my inheritance of magical blood, I was also the sole heir to my father's parent's fortune. As I grew, I gained an affinity for animals, and a love for books. Soon following, were signs of my magic.
When I turned 11, I received my letter, and I was ecstatic. My mother, as a parting gift, bought me a small kneazle called Paws, and now I take him everywhere I go. I've always been introverted, so I wasn't surprised when I didn't make any friends on the way to Hogwarts. I knew I'd be sorted into Ravenclaw, as my father's entire family was, but I was surprised when, as the hat barely brushed my hair, it called out "Hufflepuff!"
Now, I'm studying to be a Magizoologist or something of that sort, and enjoy my days at Hogwarts by the black lake, waiting for the next adventure to come.
