Ivy Steward

Backstory

Ivy Steward is a descendant from the Sayre family, founders of Ilvermorny, and distantly related to Salazar Slytherin. Born in Canada in 1954, her parents, Leanneabelle Steward and Rodney Steward, aided Albus Dumbledore and Newt Scamander in the Great War against Grindlewald. After the war, her father, a No-Maj, was killed by a rogue follower of Grindlewald, and she and her mother relocated to a small city to start afresh. Her mother, a witch, married another No-Maj and settled into life again with Ivy. However, having been a follower of Dumbledore, her mother once again became a target for what was left of Grindlewald's family. Having made a blood oath with Leanneabelle to protect Ivy to her birth, Newt Scamander relocated Ivy to Hogwarts where she could be watched over by Dumbledore himself. Little did they know that her fate still rests in the balance, and her prophecy in the Department of Mysteries links her yet again to another dark wizard.

Ivy was in the Pukwudgie house in Ilvermorny, and is now in Hufflepuff.
She is 17 in her AU.
Ivy is proficient in divination and transfiguration, and can speak parseltongue, though she is unaware.
Ivy lives in a Hogwarts AU set in 1972 at the peak of Voldemort's first reign. She is able to play in the current timeline as well, but does not have a prophecy that ties her to Voldemort in the current timeline.
