Backstory
When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, my parents and I didn’t know what it would mean. At first we thought it was just a joke, you know? My sister sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me when some weird stuff happened around the house. How was I supposed to know regular pencils couldn’t write in all the colors of the rainbow? Anyway, my parents were shocked when it processed through their minds, but eventually they calmed down. As we read the letter, we realized that we didn't know where to go to get the supplies. But I guess it's common to have two normal people give birth to a witch (which I now know is called a Muggleborn), because we got an extra letter explaining the details and where we needed to go. We decided to get my supplies during the summer, for it was barely January. After months and months of patience and excitement, the day finally came. We drove to the hidden pub know as “The Leaky Cauldron”. The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. And let me just say, Diagon Alley is fascinating! I just love the whole feel of it, and the friendliness of the witches and wizards. But I have to admit that one of the best perks of being a witch is that I'm now considered more superior than my sisters (I'm the youngest).
