Backstory

I remember the very day I learned to read when I was a tiny girl. Ever since then, I've viewed the written word as magical in itself, taking us across time, across space, across cultures. It's also a vital component of teaching -- and in some cases performing -- magic. Helping students and professors to find the right resources to help them along gives me great satisfaction, and I enjoy working with my colleagues to make the library as safe as possible -- and as accessible as is safe. For me, the most comforting smell in the world is that of shelves of old books.
