Backstory

I was born in Tennessee, and lived out my childhood thinking I was nothing more than an ordinary girl with a very protective mother who tends to spoil me a bit. I was always attracted with anything to do with magic and fantasy, and would pretend to go on fantastical adventures when I wasn't reading fantasy stories, hanging out with my friends or playing sandbox video games. Being caught writing fanfics about myself hanging out with my favorite magical characters instead of doing my schoolwork was a common occurrence. I always believed that there were magical creatures out there, even when I got to the age where believing in that was considered a bit weird.

Everything changed on my eleventh birthday though. I was eating my special birthday breakfast while Mom wrapped some last minute presents, when an owl flew through the window. I couldn't believe it when I got my Hogwarts letter! I was right all along, magic was real! Mom was just as excited as I was, we were both big kids at heart.

I decided to completely come out of my shell when I arrived at Hogwarts. I spoke what was on my mind and fangirled at all the magical things to my heart's content, even if it annoyed people. I made my displeasure of using quills instead of pencils known, and often got in trouble due to wearing my favorite overalls and yellow t-shirt (I'm kind of a tomboy) instead of the boring old black Hogwarts robes And not wearing shoes. Besides going on a fantastical adventure with my friends of course, my ultimate dream is to find a way to mix magic and muggle technolegy together. I mean, imagine what magical virtual reality games would be like!

Even though I am a Puff, I don’t consider myself to be very patient. Especially when I’m hungry, I get very grumpy when I don’t get my meal in an orderly fashion. Any other time I’m a pretty cheerful person. Hard-working is a bit of a stretch too, I would say I work hard to be lazy. I find a way to lighten the load a bit so I have more time to relax. Another mission I hope to accomplish is to show all non-believers what a force to be reckoned with my house really is.

When it comes to friendships, I'd say I'm a lot like Hagrid. I'm willing to hug just about anybody (I love hugs) but unlike Hagrid I know when a person/animal is being downright agressive or rude. Don't let the way I smile and rub your insults off in public fool you, you're going to be in for a few nasty surprises if you get on my bad side. All is not lost though, I Consider myself to be a really sympathetic and understanding person. If you're willing to talk things through I'm sure we'll be able to work it out.
