Backstory

Born in a pureblood family, I've always had all the resources that many other witches and wizards did not have. I was tutored in magic before even receiving my letter from Hogwarts saying I've been accepted since I was never good at learning. My father owns and helps invent the Firebolt brand brooms, so I've been around magic my entire life. He's always a bit of an uptight businessman but always had a soft spot for me. My mother, a caretaker of animals, was the light in the house. She sang to me so I'd sleep, and took care of my father when he got home from work. She passed away a few years ago due to a severe case of dragon pox that wasn't treated quickly enough, leaving me to care for her garden and animals, which I don't mind, of course! While I'm away at school, my father's hired a groundskeeper to take care of it all, and my aunt is staying at the house to keeps him company. I met my best friend, Katherine Statham, or Kate, in Diagon Alley, when she didn't have any galleons, so I paid for her school supplies. We were inseparable ever since. I'm so excited to start my first year at Hogwarts!
