Backstory

Both my mother and my grandmother lived in America but attended Hogwarts. For the first three years of my wizarding education, I attended Ilvermorney. After incidents that left my mother feeling wary of the school's ability to keep myself and my cousin, Alise, safe, she did all she could to get us accepted into Hogwarts for fourth year. When our acceptance letters came, we were all pleasantly surprised. We had to fly out to London to weeks before school started to prepare for the upcoming years. When we arrived, we followed the first years to get sorted. I was sorted into Hufflepuff and her Slytherin. I am grateful for the majority of Slytherin having no problem with me spending most of the afternoon in their common room.
