Backstory
Hey! I’m Everest, they/them.When I first got my letter, I thought it was some cruel joke. I’d always had a fascination and a hesitant belief in magic, but to have someone actually think I’d fall for that was an insult.
Surprise, it wasn’t fake.
I’m still a bit in shock. This overturns everything we know about science! And we still don’t know where magic comes from- is it a gene? Is it something developed from circumstance? If it’s genetic, it can’t be dominant (no muggleborns) or recessive (no squibs). Is it something else entirely?
