A Little About Katerinka

Katerinka is a sweet girl who loves to read and learn. Most of things she enjoys doing in forests or isolated areas so she can be alone without feeling anxious at all time. She loves all books but mostly enjoys fiction books. It gives her a more of a magical experience because of her wild imagination and understanding of many things ranging from real and fake. She is truly one of a kind.

She is quite talented with magical creatures. An animal whisperer as the muggles would say. Her patience and submissive posture really helps her communicate with wild creatures because they never see her as a threat or something that is trespassing on their territory. Her aura is gentle and calming.

Books just always seemed to catch her attention. Her love for fiction books does not at all little her love for nonfiction books, she loves them all equally. Most of her time she spend reading so she knows quite a lot about many creatures that most find intimidating and freighting. One of the many reasons she loves books is that when she was much younger she was sort of isolated and was too busy in trying to impress her father that when she did have free time she was too mentally tired to try and communicate with other children, not that her father would approve of that anyways, so instead she almost always decided to read.

Physical Appearance

Katerinka is a natural pure diamond blonde with hair that reaches a little above mid back with gorgeous silver eyes. Yes silver, not grey. Her eyes have a sparkling effect that surprises some people, mostly muggles. Her eyes are one of a kind that are proof that she is related to one of the most dangerous wizards from Russia, he is known for his explosive personality and short patience, truly a cruel man. Her skin color is sort of a pale one, easily bruised but not easily scarred. She is 4'0" a little small for her age but not too bad. Her body frame is small and elegant and seemingly fragile. She is slightly underweight because she does not each much, simply forgets to until she believes it is too late to get something. She has the appearance of a small kitten. One of the insults she would usually get is along the lines of 'runt' because she is small, the usual height for an eleven year old is 4'1". Of course her height never gets her down at all but usually does make her upset if someone comments on that.

Her casual clothing is a pair of muggle black leggings and a simple tight tank top that has a ember phoenix on it with black and royal blue sneakers. She enjoys wearing this because she finds it comfortable, baggy clothing is tricky to move in for her. With that she puts her hair into a simple ponytail.

With her school uniform she wears her hair in a messy bun. She also always wears a small bag where she keeps a notebook, pen, pencil, a few magical items, and a small first aid kit for witches and wizards. She always keeps her wand at the band of her skirt.

Her pajamas consist of baggy pants that clearly show above her ankle, they have blue stripes and other color is black. She doesn't mind that they are baggy since all she is doing in them is sitting or sleeping. Also a plain white tank top. Her hair stays down and she has to brush it every time she gets up or else it will be knotted.

Personality

Katerinka has a sweet personality, slightly shy, and quiet. She tends to shy away from people whom she does not know. She gets very anxious and scared when approached by taller people, especially if male because of her past. She has nothing against males but just gets extremely nervous and doesn't know how to act in front of people in general. She is actually very welcoming and curious of everything and everyone. She likes to watch people, not in a creepy way of course, but just to analyze them and see what type of person they really are. She tends to stick to one person once they become friends and becomes really dependent on them for communication and feels lost without them. She likes to be helpful but is quite hesitant when it comes to it because she isn't sure if it her place to do any of that. Once she grows accustomed to her surroundings she is much more open to other people and less shy. She doesn't pay attention to rules that much and gets away with a lot because of her capability to stay quite and unnoticed.

Past

Katerinka has a dark past which I will not be getting into but because of that she has PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). Sometimes she gets panic attacks and she has to get to a quieter setting for it to pass, rocking back and forth helps a lot and also playing with something with her hands. She has a sensory toy with her at all times in her bag. It is a small monkey that is extremely flexible. The money is a baby pink one with red inner ears and mouth with a light blue nose. It has two strips on each leg and arm of a darker color pink.

Her father was, as stated before, a cruel man. He loathed her for being slightly smaller then most children and not as physically talented as her older brother. He wouldn't praise her as he did her brother and was abusive towards her in many ways. He wouldn't let her eat at times or push her too hard when it came to performing spells, though that wasn't too uncommon in Russia since they were really strict and don't take failure too kindly most of the time.

Her brother loves her and is the kindest out of all the family members though he does seem like he bullies her in front of others but only because he was taught that kindness makes him weak. He calls her kitten to embarrass her, only to tease her of course. He is actually a very sweet guy but very blunt and stubborn. He is talented in magic but not so much when it comes to brains.

Katerinka grew up thinking that children are meant to be seen not heard. Growing up in a very strict house hold made her very skittish so whenever someone raises their voice she feels trapped and panic steps in but usually it takes a few minutes before her brain decides that there is danger. Sit still look pretty is the rule that her mother told her to follow when beside a group of others, usually helps to stay invisible.

Present

Katerinka family moved, there for she transferred to Hogwarts from Koldovstoretz. Her father decided it would be educational to spend some years away from Russia to see how they can improve their wizard knowledge. He wants to study different spells and creatures.

Katerinka wasn't too thrilled to be moved to another school because the system was extremely different. Not to mention that moving to a foreign country is nerve wracking.

She wasn't surprised when sorted into Ravenclaw and was really happy, hoping that Ravenclaw students aren't nosy and are nice. She really does not know what to expect.
