Backstory

My name is Alice Zonder; American born witch from a small remote town. I was born into a family of wizards, both of my elder siblings being accomplished battlemages. My life, however, was to go down a very different route.

I attended Cuthmore Rodgers Institute for the Magically Inclined where I graduated with high marks and an acknowledgment for Healing and Herbology. From there I trained briefly at Rosell Healing School before wanting to spread my wings and see more of the world. As luck would have it my old Herb Healing Professor brought to my attention an opening for a medi-witch assistant at St Mungo's hospital for Medical Maladies and Injuries. I have been a medi-witch assistant at their Splinching and Travelling Accidents ward for four months now, and hope to continue there till I get my Medi-healer license.

To finish up my Herbal Healing Mastery I was allowed on to the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a self-study Herbology Honors student. I hope to finish with a Masters in Healing and Herbology and improve upon the known cure and treatment procedure of intense splinching.

DETAILS
Wand: Hawthorn Wood with Phoenix Feather core. 12 1/2" and hard flexibility - excellent for healing and ironically enough for dueling, which comes to no surprise when I think about my siblings' chosen careers.

Pet: My black cat Luna has been my faithful companion these many years, she can usually be found curled up on the velvet corner of my bed or winding her way around the house-elves in the kitchen.

Patronus: Sparrowhawk. I'll let that speak for itself.

Appearance: My favorite feature of mine, I would have to say, is my nose. I feel it not too large yet not small enough to be swamped by the rest of my face. I have blue eyes and brown curly hair that is usually either cut short enough to be a nuisance or long enough to be pulled away from my face. I am of average height and build, perhaps a bit softer than average weight, as I have a big sweet tooth and a propensity to snack when I am stressed. My outfit of choice, when I am not in my medi-assistant uniform, is a long walking shirt, sensible brown boots, and stockings, and a comfortable sweater or turtleneck.

If I am not at work you can usually find me either in the greenhouses or in the library, frantically trying to complete my coursework. Feel free to come up to me at any time, I may look busy but I am always happy to meet new people and put off my coursework, even for a bit.
