Backstory

Name: Emily Hansen

Biography:
Emily was born to a muggle florist and a run away pureblood wizard, who had abandoned magic for good after meeting the love of his life. She grew up with no knowledge of the existence of magic, and believed that the reason her father's family never reached out to them was because of a fight he had gotten into years ago. This was obviously not the case and was revealed to her on her tenth birthday, a year before she got her letter, as her parents wanted to give her time to adjust to the news before Hogwarts. Emily, being a rather curious girl, couldn't stop asking questions before she found out whether she truly was a witch, and on the day of her eleventh birthday, her father surprised her with the letter. Her mother had always disliked magic, seeing as her husband lied to her for many years, and she believed it was dangerous (seeing as he had wanted to lie) but Peter, Emily's father, reassured her that their choice to send her to Hogwarts was no mistake.

Emily was quite popular at her muggle primary school and always looked for adventure in her everyday life. At Hogwarts, she took a particular fondness to Herbology (due to her upbringing around plants), care of magical creatures and charms. She dreamed of living the perfect life as a witch, and starting a happy magical family.
