Backstory

I never thought too much about the school of magic that both of my parents' had told me about, that was about to change until I received a letter that was placed neatly on my desk. Both my parents were at work so I could not ask them about it. Taking a deep breath, I went to open it. It was true! It was a letter from Hogwarts -- I could never believe that I would receive such a letter. Hearing the small creak of a door open, it was my mother who craned her neck to the side and asked what I was holding. I handed her the letter and grinned, may joy lit up her already wrinkled face, she gave me a gentle squeeze of a hug and said I should prepare myself for my first year in Hogwarts. A new year for a new chapter. . .
