Backstory

My father came to Hogwarts when he was a young wizard and was a Slytherin. He was the best in his class, head boy, and always getting O’s. After he graduated he was expected to be one of the greatest wizards of all time but he traveled for many years and eventually met my mother. They fell in love and got married and had me and my younger brother and he said goodbye to the wizarding world. He never told us about it so when I receive my Hogwarts letter that one fateful day I didn’t know what it meant. At first I thought it was just a joke you know my Younger brother would always play pranks on me or blame me when weird stuff happened around the house, how was I supposed to know regular pencils couldn’t write and all the colors of the rainbow?! Anyways, my mother was very confused by all of this and my father was excited for me. He took me to Diagon alley as soon as he could and bought me all of the stuff that I would need for my first year. My mother was still unsure about this all and wanted me to stay in Muggle school but my father insisted I go to Hogwarts. I don’t have very many friends because I have really bad social anxiety from being in a new place in a new world that I have just learned about but still know nothing about.
