Backstory

Samantha Blossom isn't her real name. Samantha Potter is. Let me explain.
So Harry had a twin sister, but not many people knew about her because Lily and James wanted to make it a surprise. But before they got the chance to good old Voldy showed up. Now Sammy was a lot more of a curious child than Harry was and tended to wonder. So while Lily was watching Harry, James was watching Sammy. Sammy wondered into the closet when James heard his wife scream. Sammy stayed in the closest for a little while unsure of anything that was happening around her. A little while later Sammy fell asleep, alone in her closet. When she woke up she woke up in Hagrid's arms. Dumbledore decided he didn't want to give Sammy the same uproar that Harry was destined to get, so he kept her a secret.
