Esmeralda Everblood

Backstory

The Everblood family has attended Hogwarts for many many years. Esmeralda was born of a very long line of Witches and Wizards. She grew up with loving magic, and being gifted at it. She read books upon books of History, Spells, etc. Esmeralda wanted to learn EVERYTHING about being a Wizard and the art of magic. She dreamed of being a Professor someday. She lived with her mother, Maria Everblood. Her father had died when she was little. She remembered how he had told her that every Everblood has been a Slytherin. She couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts and get sorted into Slytherin to continue the family tradition. She was ecstatic when she finally got her invitation to attend the school. Her mother passed down the wand that was once her Father's to her, before she needed to board the train to Hogwarts. Esmeralda was on her way to the wonderful school, Hogwarts.

During the sorting hat ceremony, she sat at the table reading about Slytherin. She was nervous and excited when she heard her name. She walked up to the Sorting Hat and the room went quiet, as she sat down. The hat was placed upon her head. It shouted "RAVENCLAW!" She stood up confused, as she saw whispers from the students and the teachers. She sat down at the Ravenclaw table, confused and alone. Maybe there was a mistake? Maybe it was meant to be. Either way she will be the best Wizard she can be no matter what house she's in. Although, in the back of her mind, it bothers her a lot that she has ruined the Everblood legacy. She can't bear to write her mother about it...
