Backstory

I come from a pureblood family of Slytherins and was raised as such. I've never met my father, seeing how he died before I was born. I was trained and taught by my family until one day my grandfather found out I was only a half-blood, from my father being a muggle. He disowned me and my mother, but she was determined to make them see we were still part of the Hetrix family just as much as we were before. Eventually they let us stay with them again but never truly accepted us again. I was expected to be sorted in Slytherin though as you see that's not the case. That was the nail in the coffin but I promised my mom to bring honor to the family name by being top of my year. Though I struggle with that part, I will try my best so I don't disappoint her. I don't want to bring her shame more than I already have. I will prove my family wrong, and show them I'm just as good as them. Whether I be half muggle or not, I am still a wizard. I hope to learn as much as I can and it's a pleasure to meet you all.
